1. Eligibility and Registration
- Age Requirements: All participants must meet the age requirements specified for each event. Valid age verification documents, such as a birth certificate, National ID card, or passport, must be submitted during registration.
- Document Scrutiny: All submitted age verification documents will be thoroughly scrutinized. We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any document provided. The information collected will be securely stored and may be used for future event registrations to streamline the process.
- False Documentation: Submission of a forged, falsified, or fraudulent age verification document is a serious offense. Any participant found to have submitted such a document will be subject to immediate and automatic disqualification from the current event. Furthermore, this action may result in a ban from all future skating events and may be reported to relevant legal authorities.
2. Registration Fees
- Non-Refundable: All event registration fees are non-refundable. Once a registration is submitted and payment is processed, we cannot issue a refund, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or non-attendance. This policy is in place to cover administrative and operational costs associated with event planning and management.
3. Event Participation and Liability
- Assumption of Risk: All participants acknowledge and understand that participation in any event carries inherent risks, including but not limited to injury or death. Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event.
- Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless G7 Skating Championship officials, its organizers, employees, sponsors, and partners from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your participation in the event.
4. Protective Gear Requirements
- In this event protective gear is deemed necessary for safety, all participants are required to wear the specified equipment throughout the event. This includes, but is not limited to, helmets, mouthguards, pads, and other items as designated by the event organizers. Any athlete found to be competing without the required protective gear will be disqualified immediately and not be allowed to continue participation. This measure is for the safety of all athletes.
5. Media and Photo Release
- Consent to Use Photos: By participating in our events, you grant G7 Skating Championship organizers and its partners full permission to take, use, publish, and display photographs and/or videos taken of you during the event.
- Purpose of Use: These photos and videos may be used for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media posts, press releases, and future event advertisements. You understand and agree that you will receive no compensation for the use of such media.
6. Conflict Resolution
- Disputes: Any disputes or conflicts arising during the event will be addressed by the event organizers. The decision of the organizers will be final.
- Awards: In the event of a dispute, all awards, including medals, trophies, and prizes, will be held until the conflict has been officially and fully resolved by the organizers.
- Protocol: Participants are required to follow the official protest and conflict resolution protocol as outlined by the event officials on site.
7. General Provisions
- Event Changes: We reserve the right to make changes to event dates, times, locations, or rules at our discretion. Any such changes will be communicated to registered participants via the contact information provided during registration.
- Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Any behavior deemed unsportsmanlike, disruptive, or harmful to others may result in disqualification.
